“Math and physics concepts are built into every Lego project,” says Tiffany Tseng, a graduate researcher in the MIT Media Lab Lifelong Kindergarten group. “Kids can build whatever’s in their imagination and, at the same time, develop spatial reasoning and learn about structural integrity, design, and a practical sense of geometry.” Lego robotics classes are held in summer camp Edison and summer camp Hackensack organised by Mindsahead Academy. Lego robotics have so many benefits to teach them in the early stage as all the science and math concepts are interrelated to each other. For example in writing an algorithm or coding in any language student should know math formulas so they can relate their subjects to coding also. STEM education is preparing kids for today non-stop innovation. This STEM education and Lego robotics also prepare them for a future job in the market.

According to Mark Gura LEGO Robotics “ is a body of teaching and learning practise based on LEGO Robotics kits, popular sets of materials that enable individuals without formal training in engineering and computer programming to design, build and program small scale robots”. The children have many benefits for design and build the LEGO Robotics. They use their own creative imagination rather than following instructions all the time. The step by step directions makes them design a robot. The child starts working on problem-solving skills as they have to build a robot according to some set of parameters.   So LEGO Robotics classes give the child a wholesome understanding of programming and develop their critical thinking.

LEGO Robotics acts as a launching pad for children to realise their passions and give them an open platform to do the experiment. Strong robotics create leadership as children learn to communicate. Children also learn to communicate across different technology platform while coding. It also teaches teamwork skills to children. The Mindsahead Academy develop these skills in the children and make them future engineers. So parents make them join LEGO robotics classes and observe the talent your child has.
